I find it very funny that all of those commercials about the Jeep Grand Cherokee or the big SUV suburban or the HUMMER all have stunt drivers driving around the mountains, taking on mountainous hills and valleys, traversing rocky paths with really tight turns, when 90% of the people that own those kinds of vehicles are cruising the tricky terrain of strip-malls and Starbucks.
The only rocky paths they come across are little insignificant honda civics with a local alternative radio station bumper sticker on the back, and the really tight turns they have to deal with are the ones where they are trying to fit their CITY-SIZED SUV in a NORMAL SIZED parking spot…and what usually happens is that they end up taking up part of the spot next to them because, by george, they just don’t have time to fiddle with things like that…they gotta get their Hollister kids into the mall to pick out their next identity.
Professional drivers on a closed course. Do not try this at home.
